So Rio has decided that she wants to sit on one of my picture frames hanging on the wall and pick at the backing....which is a no no! I don't want her ingesting something bad for her and I don't want her ruining my frame. So we've been going back and forth....she lands on the frame and take her down from the frame and put her elsewhere, repeat! This went on for five minutes and I thought she finally got the picture (no pun intended ) and the little sneak went back so unfortunately I had to put her in the cage so I can get some work done. I don't want her seeing her cage as a punishment but she left me no other option!

Could you maybe move the picture into a different room for a while?
It might be a good idea anyway to remove it, as there's always the chance it might end up with an accidental poop stain.
Have you got anywhere else in the room high for her to land on?
I had a period of time when my Jimmy landed on the picture frame but he moved on. Maybe if she has somewhere and some toys she can chew on next to it, she won't be tempted to chew the frame.
I did think about taking it down for a little bit to see if that would help. She's napping right now in her cage so I'm hoping her antics were because she was tired. Her toys are always out for her, I'm thinking that maybe its time for me to purchase some new ones to change things up! Thanks for the suggestions!!!!
I had that issue with my Jakob. At first the was interested in my kitchen. I have an open plan kitchen and living room. It required a lot of persistence, but my getting up every single time she flew to the kitchen and sat on a kitchen press, she got the picture. She'll still fly there, but she'll never stay.
Next was my screen door. She found it exciting to climb on. It's right beside her play area, so constant temptation. Sometimes I'd have to get off the couch every two minutes, but it was a matter of a few weeks, and she's never bothered again.
When I get her new toys, I bring her to them. She'll know it's for her. She doesn't play with any of my stuff in the living room, but it did take a lot of patience.
It seems like Rio's misbehaving is related to being tired! Today she decided to play with a decoration I have hanging on the wall and once again we went back and forth with me moving her and her flying back so I put her in her cage and right away she took a nap. Once she was done I let her back out and she was behaving like a good girl. I'm hoping I'm right because its an easy fix!
