Default TheCageWarehouse?

Has anyone ever purchased a cage from TheCageWarehouse? I bought one on the 4th and from the beginning I've had problems with them, and now it's 5 days later and I haven't received it yet. On the 7th the owner said he'd ship it on the 8th and send me a tracking number and I still haven't received it. I sent him an email early this morning, and he hasn't replied at all. I'm starting to become pretty worried as I spent 100$ on it, plus 50$ worth of toys and other stuff to go in it for my budgies.

I haven't heard of that vendor, but depending on where you're located, most business will say 7-10 days, even if it arrives a bit sooner. Still, if you paid for it on the 4th and he tells you on the 7the he'll ship it out on the 8th, that doesn't sound like very good business practice to me. So he got your money, but it sounds like no priority of his to get you your product. Best of luck with this, keep us posted.

I think it was 3-5 business day shipping, and yeah, i'll keep posting whenever I get some more news.

I've heard of them and have visited their website in the past.
They have no complaints filed against them with the Better Business Bureau.

Now that you have the tracking number, you should be able to tell where the package is.

The way I read this is the OP has not received the tracking number...

OP... Do not worry about the money, if you do not get your cage then you can go thru your credit card and do a charge back for item not received.

Yeah, I haven't received the tracking number still.. It's 3 days late. The guy won't reply at all.

I'd call your credit card company and put a stop payment on that transaction even before it can take place. Give them as much information as you have. If you have a saved copy of your purchase transaction invoice showing the date, amount, etc., then forward that to your credit card company as well.

Probably some guy that works from his garage and orders directly from a supplier when he gets an order and has it drop shipped.

Yes! Haha, the guy finally replied with the tracking number and its being shipped. Thanks for the advice everyone, its fine now!

When I eventually get another cage, I'm not going to order from him, he doesn't really try to keep things done on time at all, I even specified that I needed it as quick as possible, so I recommend not ordering through him. I'm probably going to get a F040 later this year through amazon.
