Hi! to Talk Budgies

I'm not in Idaho and haven't had any luck in finding a Budgie Breeder for you in that state. However, I did find that there will be an American Budgerigar Society show in September in Kelso, Washington if that is something you might be interested in.

Additionally, I would suggest contacting the American Budgerigar Society, as well as the Budgerigar Association of America and ask them for recommended breeders in your area.

You can also contact Big Wings Parrot Rescue in Caldwell, ID for information regarding possible budgies in need of homes.

You can try Adopt a Pet for budgies being rehomed.

Please take the time to read through all of the How To Guides, the FAQs and the stickies located at the top of each section of the forum.

You'll find most of your basic questions about budgies and caring for them will have been answered after you've read through all of them.

By the way, all photos entered in any of our forum contests must be a full-size photo and not a thumbnail attachment so it's good to know how to upload them!

If you have any questions after reading through everything, please be sure to ask!

Glad you decided to join us and looking forward to seeing you around the forums.

Hi to the forum!

I hope you find the budgies you are looking for . The parrot rescue link that FaeryBee gave you might be a good place to start. Lots of times parrot rescues get budgies. They are little parrots afterall . Good luck!

Hello... I'm from Eastern Washington, so not far! I know of a bird rescue in the Cd'A area.. also the Kootenai Humane Society has budgies from time to time! I think the name of the rescue, which is just getting started is... Just Wings. They've taken birds when the Humane Society can't... I'll see if I can find the contact information for them...

Hi there and to the forums!

You've been given great advice regarding possible options for you to adopt a little friend of your own

In the meantime, be sure to read through all the links provided and ask any questions you may have afterwards.

It's great to hear you'll be building them a big cage! You can find information on safe wood, metal mesh, and other essentials on the Do It Yourself subforum

We hope to see you around and it's great you've joined us!

Cheers
