Default Can anyone help out this poor bird?! (UK)

I saw this advert today:
https://www.gumtree.com/p/birds/gree...med/1165646963
This poor little girl, absolutely NOTHING in the cage for stimulation, owner clearly completely uninterested, it absolutely breaks my heart.
I've emailed the lady explaining she needs to provide the bird with stimulation but i doubt she will listen as she is trying to get shot of it.
I can't even bear to look at it again, wish she would just hand it over to the RSPCA. People like this shouldnt be allowed to keep birds IMO
Rant over

If only it were Lincoln, not London. Hope she finds a loving home.

Its very possible that's a cage for the pictures. It's to clean for the budgie to be living in. I think there would be water, seeds & poop in the cage.

It does look like a holding cage.
Its quite common for breeders to put birds in such a cage for pictures.

I also think that is just for showing the bird, it looks in pretty good condition anyways, let's all hope for the best

I agree, I came to the same conclusion looking at the pictures.

I agree that things are a bit too clean and hopefully this does indeed indicate that her situation is not as bleak as it seems.

Either way, I hope she finds a good home soon!
