Default Essential Oils

Hello everyone. What is your opinion on essential oils? Few people say they are bad for budgies. Some say they are perfectly safe. Can the be used in the same rooms as a budgie? Are there only certain scents that are safe? If you have had success with this please link me the products you are using so I can use them and be safe. Thank you

Greetings I'm not sure on that.but I don't use them just incase its not safe.I just put rose petals sometimes in a bowl across the room to have a natural scent of flowers.I'm sure some of our wonderful friends here can help on this better.blessings.

Certain essential oils may be used, while others should not

The two safest essential oils for budgies are 100% pure eucalyptus oil and 100% pure lavender oil. When in doubt, check to be sure it is 100% undiluted with no alcohol, the bottle should say so. If you aren't sure, it's best to go with a different brand

Hey Starlingwings I am looking at this product here. I can't seem to find an essential oil that is just Eucalyptus. They have Eucalyptus combined with other things. I don't know about it. What do you think?

Bernie,

That one looks just fine! From what I can see, it actually is 100% pure eucalyptus, I do notice they suggest which oils to blend with it if you are making something else with it.

Now I had read somewhere I have to introduce the essential oils to my budgie in a certain way? Did you know about that? I thought all I had to do was purchase a diffuser then put a few drops of the oil and I could just turn it on. Or is there something I'm missing.
