Default new cage?

Hi.
I have 2 keets that are currently in a cage That I made by putting together 2 26x13x22 cages to get a 52x13x22. I am thinking about getting a Hendryx F050 instead. Would this be a better choice?
thanks

Sounds good and looks good as well in terms of size. Just be careful of the toys you put in so the keets don't harm them self. With this size they have a whole house for them self.. lol...

The Prevue Hendryx F050 cage is 37" long x 23" wide by
47" high (Interior Dimensions) 60" height exterior including the built in stand

I have one (and several F040s as well)

I would definitely recommend the F050 as a better choice than what you are currently using.

Question

Thanks
I just ordered a F050. A few questions.
How many perches for 2 keets and placement(high, mid low)?
Toys at top or middle?
More than 1 drinking container?
One of my keets had her wings clipped so cannot fly well, should I have ladders, branches, etc to allow her to get up and down?

Hi again, Steve.

It is best to have a variety of diameters of perches.
If you can get grapevine perches or java perches, your budgies will love those.

I'd also recommend a pedi-perch and at least two swings.
Cuttle Bone, Mineral Block and Manu Clay Rose

For two budgies that get along well, I only use one water dish but it is fine to have two if you prefer.

Since one of your budgies can't fly well, you can either stagger perches to help her move from one area of the cage to another and/or use ladders. Most budgies can easily climb the bars of the cage as well.

Great choice!

Deborah has given you some great advice and I can't wait to see the cage all set up! Do post pictures, we'd love to see them
