Talking What budgie mutation do you think is the most stunning?

There's so many. The yellowface II skyblue budgie is gorgeous with the blue and yellow contrast. Budgies with the easter egg colors are beautiful, too! and then that budgie which is half normal green budgie and half blue budgie. Also, an anthracite budgie is stunning!

There are so man beautiful varieties and combinations it is hard to pick one! The prettiest one I have seen in person was a Violet Yellow Face Cinnamon Spangle, it was all lovely pastel shades due to the cinnamon.

I love the violet budgies and also rainbows too but honestly, I don't think I've seen a mutation that I haven't liked.

Agree with you Therm that haven't seen one I don't like. Nick's new Ollie is beautiful. But so is that lovely anthracite.

And the "harlequin" half & half is astonishing. Bit unbelievable too, as if God was having a bit of fun seeing what else He could come up with to enthrall us

I do love all their colours, I'm stunned at all the different dominant, recessive, and co-dominant mutations that exist! Budgies certainly must be some of the most widely coloured birds around, I'd reckon

If I had to choose, skyblue violets and yellowface budgies are always at the top of the list, so are TCBs

There are so many breathtaking mutations out there, many of which we don't seem to commonly see in the US. Seems like stores (and even breeders here) tend to just have more of the usual mutations. Although all healthy birds are pretty regardless of color .

One of my all time favorite mutations is the recessive pied, specifically goldenface (single factor? the one that spreads all over the body), in a blue series bird. For an example of this type of mutation, you can see a pic of my late Twigs, the angel in my sig pic . Also Therm's Jimmy is an example, as is aluz's Golidilocks .

My new English boy Chip is a cinnamon sky blue, and I thought he was pretty stunning too .

I think their personalities make them beautiful. I have Rickey who is like the normal blue grey pet store budgie. He is so charming though so it's hard to not think he is freaking adorable lol. Lucy was stunning though she was a Lutino and just had the prettiest vibrant yellow feathers. I do love yellow faces thoug they are too cute
