Default Made some swings for the budgies

None of this cost me a dime . I used all spare parts that I had. I'm slowly decorating Chip's side of the double flight cage while he's still in quarantine.

Beaded Canopy Swing. For those rainy days I'm pleased how this one came out. The canopy is a coconut shell.

Very nicely done!!

I can't let my crew see that canopied swing though or they will all be complaining they don't have canopies on their swings.

I really like the way that looks.

That is one fancy looking swing, Julie! I may just try to make one or two for my flock!

Deb, if you let your flock see that, you'll be adding canopies until the cows come home, with all the swings they have,

What a great looking umbrella swing! (which is what I thought when I saw it. But it doesn't rain that much in S. California, does it? )

Chip is going to be so pleased when he sees his lovely new cage toys Hope you have the PC "Be Fair" Policy in place? (In other words, What One Gets, All Get...). If not, you'd better get busy or Mink will do something that will make him even more of a wanted criminal superbudge than he is already

They look really great Julie. Chip is such a lucky boy! Make sure Mink doesn't go green with envy.

Thank you Star, I can't wait to see them using them in the big cage after quarantine!

Thank you so much Dor . I know! If I were to buy something like the canopy swing, I know it would be quite pricey! You're right... bird toys (as well as pet products in general) are not cheap! I wish I had more of those coconut shell halves.

Thank you Deborah . I agree, you shouldn't let your gang see the canopy swing haha like Kristen said, or else you'll be kept pretty busy modifying a ton of swings

Thanks Kristen, I didn't even think about using the coconut shell at first. I'm glad I thought of it. Loved your comment about all of Deb's swings!

There has been a drought here, but it does rain more than I'd like. Not as much as where you live I'd imagine. I'm definitely not looking forward to summer here though. It gets dreadfully HOT!! Ugh.

Yes I will have to make sure Mink can use the toys too. It would only be fair since she is a nice girl who would even let Twigs borrow her bed swing (when she wasn't using it in the daytime) .
