Default "Green cookware" (100% PTFE and PFOA Free)

I have read many different opinions and sometimes conflicting information regarding cookware. I know that nonstick cookware is a number one no-no. Since Petal has joined our "flock", we have ceased use and packed it away. We do have stainless steel, cast iron and ceramic. I'm curious about the latter.

I have read that anodized "green" pans are safe such as the description of this pan for example: 14" Green Earth Wok by Ozeri, with Smooth Ceramic Non-Stick Coating (100% PTFE and PFOA Free)

I want to purchase a set of new cookware. Is ceramic safe? What about if it's PTFE and PFOA free?

I searched this forum but couldn't find anything on ceramic PFOA free pans.

Thanks!
Cheley

Ceramic pans with no harmful coating are perfect for budgies In fact, due to its effectiveness in the kitchen as well as its bird-safe status, most of us have replaced many of our cookware with ceramic pans. The one you asked about looks just fine

I also use ceramic cook ware ,they have no harmful chemicals in them,so I feel safe and comfortable around Gracie cooking.I always use my vent fan as well.

When I make green tea with cranberry and pome granite .it tastes so very delicious and has a pleasing smell.Blessings

Yes, ceramic cookware is truly a blessing. Just imagine if it didn't exist, nobody would ever be able to cook! I love the set I bought. It is a little off name, but it works beautifully. I can melt butter and marshmallows, and let the pan soak only a couple minutes and it slides right off with a sponge. I just love that stuff. I even found one of the Orgreenic jelly roll pans that I frequently use as a cookie sheet.
