Here are the two pictures I was given of these 8 week old budgies on some ones shoulder. Each of the photos are blurry/unfocused on the ceres, is there anyway to tell or will I have to ask for clearer pictures

Also, I've been a lurker on the fourms for a while and everyone is here is very nice and informative.

Welcome back to the forums!

These photos also seem to have been taken in artificial lighting and this can hinder the cere's true colours.
From the two photos you posted, it seems that the sky blue greywing budgie on the far right is the only boy. The rest of the budgies look very much like girls to me.

Hi Anna

Although it would be better to have close-up pictures taken in natural light of the babies' ceres, I can tell you that all of them seem to be girls except for the sky blue greywing baby on the far right, who is male

EDIT: Oops, aluz and I posted at the same time--but now it's confirmed

Thanks everyone for your help! I was looking for another male so it's good to know that they all might be girls and one boy. I will see if I can go and get clearer pictures later
