Hi guys. Quick question. Harvey is coming up on the end of his quarantine period in the next few weeks. And I'm trying to pre plan. My 2 girls are doing well together in their prevue f040 in one room and Harvey is in a medium prevue flight cage in another room alone. I want to put them all in one room but keep the housing situation the same. The room is my office so I spend a lot of time in there and want to have them all around me.
My concern is that since Harvey is in a cage by himself (and plan to keep it this way as I don't want babies), will it be stressful for him?
Edited to add: Loooong term planning is to think about getting another prevue f040 and get Harvey a male companion. But that's in the future and I don't want him stressed in the current
It should be just fine to have Harvey in a separate cage in the same room with the girl's cage. They can "chat" with one another from their respective homes. I kept two budgies in one cage and one in another in the same room with no problems.
Are you planning to give them all supervised out-of-cage time together?
Faerybee thanks for your reply! I was planning on giving them supervised out of cage time together as long as everyone gets along. Currently none of them want to come out of their cages. I leave the door open when I'm whom evers room and they just stare at it lol!
