Default Odd feather after moult

The bébés are just finishing a big moult (which I was expecting from the big move) and Sweetie has this weird feather that just sticks out all the time. I tried holding it, not pulling, in case it was just lodged or something but when Sweetie went to move it did not come out and he looked at me like I did the most offensive thing possible. It doesn't seem to be hurting him or anything, just... hangs there. Should I leave it? Pull it out? I worry it might catch on something. It's been about a week.

And one of Lemon just because she's a cutie:

Looks to me like a feather that wants to come out but has not done so yet, sort of like a lose tooth in a child that is just hanging on by a thread. I would probably just leave it as long as it is not causing any discomfort.

I agree, either this feather is in the process of being moulted out or maybe Sweetie has somehow bent it while playing or during another activity.
He will sort this odd feather on his own and most likely he will preen it out or it can even naturally fall off during a short flight.

I agree with the above. Maybe by now it's fallen out ? Either molted or a broken shaft. Thank you for including a pic of Lemon, she is definitely a cutie!

Moira, I have nothing to add to the great advice above, but just had to say that any and all pictures of your duo are always quite enjoyed
