Hi there and to the forums!

I edited your post so that your picture shows up embedded in the text. To do this, simply copy and paste the direct link for the photo into the link box that appears when you click the photo icon at the top of the text space.

Your budgie is beautiful!

Without a doubt, he is a handsome little male

You've come to a great place to learn and share even more about budgies--start with the Budgie Articles and Stickies (threads "stuck" to the top of each subforum for easy reference) to ensure you're up to date on the very best of budgie care and practices!

If you have any questions after reading through everything, feel free to ask as we'd love to help

Hope to see you around!

I'm not the best at this especially with certain mutations.

Welcome to the forums!

I agree that you have a gorgeous young male, the cere has a deep and uniform purplish colour.

For gender and/or mutation help - Lighting and Angle DOES matter

By the way, all photos entered in any of our forum contests must be a full-size photo and not a thumbnail attachment so it's good to know how to upload them!
