Hey

I'm looking at getting some budgie feeders, that fit in the side of the cage. Trouble is, that if we get a "small" one, I don't know if it will fit

I've measured the width between the wires of the cage and it is 10mm, or 1cm

I was looking at this item on eBay: 182163153994

I'm not sure if it will fit though. I would rather have the budgie feed from an actual feeder and not the stuff that was provided, because well it means that the food is a lot less likely to get poo in it!

Does any one know what I should buy?

Hi! to Talk Budgies

In order to view the item you are referencing, we need the full link to the item rather than the number of it.

I'd suggest you look through the resources directory.
I would think you'll find what you are looking for through one of the distributors listed.

Additionally, please take the time to read through all of the How To Guides, the FAQs and the stickies located at the top of each section of the forum.

You'll find most of your basic questions about budgies and caring for them will have been answered after you've read through all of them.

To upload full-sized pictures with the proper orientation, please use a photo-sharing service such as PhotoBucket and follow the steps in these instructions:

For gender and/or mutation help - Lighting and Angle DOES matter

By the way, all photos entered in any of our forum contests must be a full-size photo and not a thumbnail attachment so it's good to know how to upload them!

If you have any questions after reading through everything, please be sure to ask!

Glad you decided to join us and looking forward to seeing you around the forums.

Thanks. I'll be sure to check those out too!

I figured that most forums say "You must have 5 posts before posting a link" as they're often inundated with spammers..which is why I didn't post a link. The link for reference is:

2Pcs Bird Canary Budgie Cockatiel Lovebird Seed & Water Feeder Dispenser Clear | eBay

I figured that the item number would have done the trick!

We really do need something that fits in to a 10mm(1cm) gap, and I'm not fond of the feeding tray thingies that go in the cage through the gap

I'm not in the UK so my cage bar spacings are larger than yours.

I would suggest asking the question of the seller of the item.

I hope you find what you are looking for.

Hi there and to the forums!

I also am not sure if that would work in that situation so I agree that contacting the seller for more information is probably the best option.

Personally, I use stainless steel bowls in the cage, and those work wonderfully.

I hope you're able to find what you're looking for!

In the meantime, be sure to read through all the links provided, as they will help to update you on the very best of budgie care practices If you have any questions after reading through everything, don't hesitate to ask as we'd love to help!

I hope to see you around, and also to meet your budgie(s) soon
