Default Budgie sleep schedule

Hello, I was worrying about budgie sleep schedules. I usually have to get up pretty early for school and I know they need a lot of sleep. If I accidentally wake it up around 6:30 in the morning, would it be able to fall asleep again? Or should I put it to bed around 7 or 8 at night so it can get enough sleep if it wakes up that early? I want to have a happy and healthy budgie. Thanks

If you are getting up around 6:30 then it would be best to put your budgie to bed by 6:30 in the evening.

Hi there,

If by that time the sun hasn't come up yet, then your budgie will go back to sleep. When the cages aren't covered for bed time, budgies will usually wake up and start their day once the sun rises and there is enough brigthness in the room.
Mine will go to sleep between 9:00 - 9:30 PM maximum and will wake up at about 7:30 - 8:00 AM.

I have the same schedule, so I know exactly what you mean, Asuna.

I get up at 6:30 every morning for school and no matter how quiet I am, Mallorn always hears me and chirps for me to uncover her.

On the other hand, there's no way she would fall asleep early in the evening, because she gets pretty hyper and wanting to play later in the evening when I'm home.

So, she's adapted to napping during the day when she has a quiet house to catch up on one or two hours

Obviously, keeping them up all night because the could nap the next day is not a good option, but for just a few extra hours it's fine. Mallorn goes to bed around 8:30 or 9:00 every night
