Default Mixing Seed & Veggies

One of my clients gave me three Bourkes parakeets. She said she gives them finely shredded carrots and hard boiled egg, and mixes it in with their seed. She covers it and puts it in the 'fridge and uses it throughout the week.
What do you think of this? I think it would make the seed get soggy, and possibly even start to sprout. But maybe they like this?

I have my seed separate to my birds veggies. I don't mix veggies in with my birds seed would make it soggy. You can either have a separate bird container and put there veggies and boiled egg in there cage if you like... Someone else on here will help you.

I personally would use separate dishes for the seed and the vegetables.
Having vegetables mixed in with the seed will promote sogginess and possible bacterial growth.
