Default Native grasses for the budgie

Dear Talk Budgie,

It is always nice to have a variety of toys and branches to nibble for your budgie.

Yesterday I was collecting in the bird sanctuary park some native grasses for my budgie Teebo. As I understood, most of the grasses are not poisonous and can be offered to your bird. I did some research on the allowed for budgies grasses, but could not find the grass which you see on the picture bellow.
It is the one in the middle with the bir black "tail". It grows close to the ponds and park paths.

Does anyone know the correct name of this grass? Is it allowed to the budgies to nibble?

Thanking everyone in advance!

Rather than taking a chance on a grass you are unsure of, I would recommend you contact a botanist in your area for assistance in identifying the plants.

I would really hate for someone on the forum to think they know what the grass is from the picture you've posted only to find out it is something else that may not be good for your budgies...
