Default Chippy's Clipped Wings

Its been a while since we had Chippy's wings clipped, I know many had asked for a pic! We were letting her out for short times in the floor with us. She would walk to her playset, and would sometimes give us kisses. But she was always very nervous and didn't seem to be adjusting. Then one weekend she got very sick, is all better now, but we haven't let her out again. She has been even more affectionate toward us, & seems like she wants to come out. Any suggestions on how to better approach coaxing her out?

I'm glad your Chippy is feeling better now. Her nervousness when having out of cage time may have been due to being placed on the floor, instead of on a higher surface. This is a natural response and part of the budgie's defence mechanism, they look for a higher place to feel safe and have a better vantage when it comes to spotting potential predators.
Having the wings clipped could have also contribute in raising her stress levels since this made her more vulnerable.

If Chippy is showing signs of wanting to come out and spending quality time with you, you can help her out by keeping the cage's door open and attaching a perch onto the bars (on the outer part of the cage) near the door.
Having the play gym near the cage will also be good and can entice Chippy to come out. You can also add a couple of her favourite toys and a tasty treat on the play area to make her more receptive to willingly come out of the cage on her own accord.
Having some soothing music on will also be helpful in terms of creating a good, positive and inviting atmosphere for Chippy to feel confident in coming out of the cage.

Good luck!

aluz has offered you very good advice.
Have you allowed Chippy's flight feathers to grow back in now?

Yes, we have not clipped her wings again. This picture was taken about a week after they were clipped.
