Default Poop off bird mister

I wonder if anyone have tried this mister before. Did your budgies really like it? What is the difference between this mister vs a regular ?

I would like to know what kind of plastic is it made from? Is it pba free?
which is the safe plastic number from this bottle?

Can using any kind of plastic bottle cause any damage to budgies health and wellness, whether you fill it with hot, Luke or cold water?

For my personal use, my water bottle are stainless steel or plastic pba free. I wonder if I should worried about the same issue when considering buying a mister? I haven't seen a bird or a regular mister made of stainless steel anyway

Hi I couldn't comment on this as I have never tried.

However I agree your are right to be cautious and personally I would just used plain water to mist birds.

Hopefully someone else can offer thier thoughts on this product.

Hi Damag,

Is the bottle sold with something in it or is it just the "Poop-off" brand selling the bottle with the special mister setting?

If the bottle has a product in it I also would advice against it, plain water is always the best option for birds as there is no danger of harm if it gets in their eyes or it is ingested

Hi StarlingWings: " Poop off" is just the brand selling name. It is just a empty plastic bottle but I was worried about the type of plastic of this bottle. Should I worried about if this bottle is bpa free? Should I make sure that everything i buy for my budgies is bpa free or plastic won't affect their wellness?

Ah, okay

In that case, it's probably just fine. Since you're just misting them with it and they aren't drinking from it significantly, etc., then you don't need to worry about being BPA free. If you were getting them a water bottle or a bowl or something, that may be more of a concern

Even though it's very fine mist, remember not to spray it at the birds, and instead spray the top of their cage so it can settle gently on them like rain
