Help about cuttle bone holder

Hi,
I need suggestions for a good cuttle bone holder for my budgies. I bought cuttle bone the one that has some metal for gripping/attaching to a cage but metal part was on the outside after attached to the cage but if I use that one the cuttle bone doesn't stay attached to the cage it still hangs so loose and somewhat downward and so last month my budgie was injured with that metal as I guess she went to eat that cuttle bone but while flying back to her perch her blood wing was injured with that metal part so I really need a good cuttle bone holder so it won't be as harmful as that metal thing is.
Thank you so much.

I'm sorry your budgie got injured.
Maybe the suggestion on this link will be of use to you: https://talkbudgies.com/do-yourself/3...one-mount.html

I use the method discussed in the above thread for my cuttlebones, too, but other members also use this cuttlebone holder:

I use the type Star pictured in her post in all of my birds' cages. :)

Thanks everyone. Especially for that link as I have small cage for my birds as of yet so that link will be great for now. Much appreciated :)

Hey Faerybee, sorry I got confused. Are you referring to StarlingWing's picture that she posted? Thanks :)
