Has anyone else had an issue assembling their F 050?

When I drop the sides of the cage in, the extending bars do not connect with the side rails. There is about a half inch between of open space.
Because it's not properly held, there is about an inch of free space a budgie could easily squirm through.

I've tried taking it apart and rearranging it, but always the same.

Looking over it again I think I see a difference in the number of doors from what is in the illustrations in the instructions. I think instead of sending 2 of one type and 2 of the other, they sent 4 of the same type. Going to return it.

You don't have to return the entire cage.
Contact the supplier and explain the problem.
They may ask you to provide a picture of the side that is incorrect.

Generally a new part will be shipped right away.
The supplier will let you know if the incorrect side needs to be returned or if you should just keep it.

Best wishes.

The good news is Prevue is pretty good at sending the necessary parts. They maintain a database and can pull up your purchase information as long as you bought it from an authorized supplier. The bad news is they are terrible about sending the right part. Explain the missing part and cage model as clearly as possible and have them repeat it back to you.

I told them the model and the part description and part number. They still managed to send me the wrong part from an entirely different cage. Had to order the part again the woman tried to rush me off the phone and I had to halt her and tell her she was still reading off the wrong cage model number. They are responsive, they just aren't accurate.

I still have a back penal from the F070 cage sitting in my room with no clue what to do with it since I requested a front replacement panel of the F050 due to a popped wield. They did get it right the second time after I corrected her several times in the same phone call.

HA
I'm glad it's not just me then.
I'd ordered it through Amazon, and they said they'd do a full swap-out. I've never had to use their customer service before, but it seemed pretty easy.
