Who cares for your budgie when you are on holidays?
We are about to purchase our new budgie and I'm trying to get as prepared as possible. One thought that came to my mind today was, what do you do with your budgie when you go away? If it's a local holiday, can they travel in the car? If for longer periods, who would you trust to care for them? Mummy worry already....
Thanks for reading this post and I hope you can give me some advise..
When I go away mine go to stay with my mother, she lives in the same time so time in the car is very short. My parents are experienced so I have no worries leaving them with them.
Hope you find a suitable solution when the time comes.
It's good to start planning ahead for when you do have to leave your budgies for a holiday!
Looking into a trusted avian vet with boarding services is a good place to start if you don't have anybody in your family or any friends with experience in caring for budgies
If you don't have a place that boards birds and also don't have any friends/family that knows about budgies, it would be a good idea to choose someone trustworthy willing to commit to learning about budgies and you can teach them the basics
Best of luck!
