Question Full Spectrum Daylight Fluorescent Tube

Hi,

Recently I'm trying to find the proper Full-Spectrum light for my parakeets.

On some websites I've read that a fluorescent tube is better than Compact Fluorescent Lights.

I've found some fluorescent tubes on the following website:

Fixtures, lamps, fluorescent bulbs and tubes providing full spectrum (daylight) lighting to substitute for sunlight.

It seems too good to be true.

So I was wondering if there are any fellow budgie-keepers who have experience with this.

Also, I live in Canada so much of the online stores costs very expensive shipping fees.

Thank you,

James

Unless I am missing something that link is for the light bulbs only. You will still need a light fixture compatible with the bulbs. Here is a link to what Windy City Parrot is recommending. First Look Fluval Eco-Bright LED Full Spectrum 7500K Bird Aviary Lamp - YouTube I have in the past used Featherbrite bulbs in both floor lamps and clamp on lights.
