Default Want ideas for high places for birds to perch

I've moved into a new place and let my 3 birds out daily. However, they don't really land anywhere except the top of their cage or me which is highest and safest place for them. I used to have a wardrobe and curtain rods in my old place but I don't need a wardrobe anymore and curtain would be too dirty with droppings. Any recommendation on sturdy tall furniture or rods or poles or other items? For reference, previously their cage was set higher than me at my old place, now it's stomach high. The cage is https://www.walmart.com/ip/17490831?...&wl13=&veh=sem

What about a wooden clothes airer that you could add other bits & pieces to?

Hey,

As you have a flat top cage, why not get a play gym for the top of their cage? I have several different play gyms for my birds on top of their cages and also java wood perches. I prefer to encourage the birds to stay on top of their cages where there poop is contained in a certain area. They do occasionally go on my curtain pole but I try and discourage this.

I know some members hang a swing or toys from the ceiling to provide a play area.

Even if you aren't using a curtain on the window, you can still put up a curtain rod for the budgies to sit on.

Putting some hooks in the ceiling and hanging swings, a boing or other toys would work well in addition to a play gym on top of the cage that Therm suggested.

I have things hanging from the ceiling (swings, boings, etc) and my birds really love it.
