Yes, you can place a cage on top of your current cage, as long as it is properly stacked and is not wobbly.
You will have to make sure this cage has a decent and comfortable size to house your single female: https://talkbudgies.com/housing-budgi...age-sizes.html

Oh that's a relief. I have a spare ferplast 5 that I used for 2 budgies. Would that work or do you think I should get something smaller .

Using the Ferplast 5 for Suki will be just fine.

Best wishes!

I have realised something these last few days , if I let all buds out the same time (evening) a few hours before bedtime they go home no problem.. if Suki goes in first the boys always follow.. if I let them out morning time I can't get them home. We are learning together how to get a routine going that works for us all.. Also I'm watching all three like hawks and there is no real fighting, just squabbling over stupid things like perches and swings. The 2 males kiss , feed and play and Suki does the same with both of them separately only when she feels like it, which is not often, and when she has had her fill of them she let's them know with a firm peck. (so cute)I love a woman who knows her own mind. , Suki prefers to play with paper strings all by herself, I don't feel the need at this present time to separate them as they are all equal with each other at separate times, there is always one left out but I've seen Suki , zuko and Decca all take there turn .. maybe this threesome might work, is it a possibility..

They will go home when it's getting dark, or for food. Budgies know their safe place and where to get their food.

It's good you are watching them carefully. it might be fine now, but if one male goes into condition, or both do at the same time, you might have fighting on your hand for the females attention. This is when you will need to step in. Just watch for the cere's changing colour. It might be wise to split them up before anything happens.

I have males and females together and I will keep budgies apart if one of the males goes into condition and it becomes problematic to keep him with the others.

You'll have to make the judgement call, but you have the advice already here to draw upon in making decisions in the future.
