Default Roger is molting!

It's true, Roger is molting. There are feathers everywhere and he's losing his stripes. I am very excited but I had one question. When should I tell him he's adopted?

It's indeed exciting to see a bird start to change feathering from baby to adult . Here is some basic information on molting. https://talkbudgies.com/your-budgies-...ting-faqs.html and
https://talkbudgies.com/articles-gene...e-molting.html

You don't ever have to tell him he was adopted, as long as he knows he's loved

I think it's safe to go ahead and explain to him now that he's adopted.
When you tell him you plan to give him the very best of food, love and care possible, I'm sure he'll be thrilled.
