Default Say hello to the new aviary birds :D

All of these gorgeous birds you see here will be apart of the aviary. My uncle is getting two sheds. This way it won't be too cramped. They will be able to fly around perfectly fine and of course he'll have the cages for breeding. So say hello to the last few budgies he'll be adding to the flock!

Jasmine --

I find it very distressing to see so many budgies cramped in a tiny cage while waiting for a aviary that is not yet completed.
It seems to me that you (and/or your uncle?) are putting the cart before the horse.

It has been discussed in previous threads already that one should nevereven attempt breeding without extensive knowledge of budgies and their care.

From the posts you've made, you don't possess that knowledge.
I've asked that you have your uncle join the forum to learn best practices, but he has not done so.

I hope you can understand my concerns and inability to be anything but unhappy about the current situation.

Default Say hello to the new aviary birds :D

I'm not the one breeding them Faery. And they were only in there overnight because my uncle didn't get back until 9PM last night. He had to travel far to pick them up. They've now been put into the aviary. And next month he's buying the new aviary. My uncle is breeding the budgies I wouldn't involve myself in something I have no knowledge of. My uncle has very good knowledge when it comes to breeding. I'm simply going to be taking pictures and writing their journeys of their eggs and their breeding progress so I can learn more about it as it's something I'd like to do in the future. My uncle is helping me by teaching me more about budgies and also their breeding.

You've completely misunderstood me and my uncle. We would never hurt budgies nor would any of my family members try breeding any animals without the knowledge of it. We are against putting animals health in danger.

Sighs. While I appreciate your concerns my uncle has the capability of breeding and doesn't need to join this forum to learn what he already knows. My granddad has been breeding budgies since he was 14 years old and has giving my uncle the knowledge of breeding budgies. I know I don't have the knowledge of breeding budgies and I'd never do something I know I can't do. I'm hoping to eventually learn so I can breed them myself one day. I know right now I can't do that.

Sighs.

I think it's best just to have this post closed. Nobody seems to be understanding exactly what I'm saying and it's upsetting me a little now. I won't be putting anything else up about the aviary or budgies that my uncle is breeding. I'm simply learning about breeding so I can do it in the future but it just seems to be misunderstood. So I won't comment anymore on it.

One of the budgies in the top left of the first picture looks as if it may have blood on its forehead.
You might want to point that out to your uncle.

Since you indicate these are not your budgies and you are not the one in charge of keeping them and/or breeding them, it would be best for you to post only about your own birds in the future.
I believe at this time that would be Reggie and Rosie if I've kept up with all your threads properly.

You can keep any pictures of the aviary birds and their breeding journals as your own private information rather than sharing it on the forum.

I will say that it's difficult for the staff to understand the reasoning behind the series of events when it's come to the budgies you've introduced thus far through various threads and posts.

First there was Ronnie and Reggie.
You chose to give Ronnie to your uncle rather than house him separately in a different cage in a different room of your home.
Having Ronnie in a cage by himself because he's aggessive makes sense.
Keeping that cage in an aviary full of other birds doesn't seem fair to him, in my personal opinion.

Then you got Willow.
When you found out Willow is female, she was given to your uncle to become part of the aviary "breeding" flock.

After that, you chose to get yet another budgie from the same breeder where you got Reggie.
This budgie was supposedly a male and Reggie's twin.
However, it turns out the budgie is actually a female.
You've now indicated you are keeping Rosie and housing her in a cage in a different room from Reggie.
We haven't heard anything about her since.

I'm sorry if you feel you are misunderstood.
What I've written here is the perception you've given by the things you've posted.

At your request, I'm closing this thread now.
