Default Friend's Budgies

Hey guys! My friend found a budgie alone and attacked on the streets and has decided to care for it and keep it. She was also given another budgie as a present to keep her offer budgie company. I know for a a fact they are still quite young, but I have not seen them in person yet and my friend wants to know the gender of the birds~ Here are the pictures:
The first picture is the budgie she found and the second one was given to her as a gift. And I came for help here because I am not a birdgender pro haha. And my friend wanted to name them quickly~ THANKS YOU GUYS!! Also I would like to know what variation they are~

Lesley,

They are both girls The budgie in the first picture is grey green clear flight pied and the second is light green single factor dominant pied.

However, the first budgie has scaley face mites, which must be treated right away. Since the two birds have come into contact, they both must be treated with the medicine, which your friend can get. It's called Ivermectin and is the only effective way to stop the mites from spreading. She should throw out any rope toys or perches, clean both cages thoroughly daily with vinegar and hot water, and take both of them to the vet right away to ensure they get an accurate diagnosis. There's no telling which other illnesses this budgie could be hiding since it was outside for so long. When did she find this budgie, and when did she get her a friend?

Also, when introducing a new bird, quarantine must be observed to ensure no illnesses get passed on to the new bird or to the old one from the pet store. In this case, if she would have quarantined her new bird, she wouldn't have to be treated for scaley face mites.

Either way, it's important she treat them right away. Scaley mites when left untreated are very debilitating.

You may consider asking her to join the forums so she is able to take advantage of these resources too

Thank you so much for this advice and this mini diagnosis! She found the first budgie about three days ago, early late Sunday night, I believe and the other one was given to her by a friend yesterday, so Tuesday. I told her to take the first one to the vet, but I guess she didn't like that idea very much. And yes I will definitely tell her about the condition she is in and what to do. And I will also argue her to join! Thanks Again!!!

Star has offered excellent advice and I certainly hope your friend will follow it for the well-being of the two little girls now in her care.
