Usually, Lemon and Sweetie have their own bedroom. It's the spare room that our guests stay in, but usually our whole little family will be in there hanging out. It's become the budgies' room because whenever my husband and I have to leave the house, it's safest and more fair (as the budgies would already be in their cage) to lock the budgies in the bedroom and the cats out. However, today we have a change of pace!
It snowed a lot recently and it's beautiful outside, and as I'll be working on a paper in the living room all day, I thought I would bring them in here to join me. Also, outside there's a big tree that the squirrels have been running up and down and so it's been fun for the budgies to watch. IMG_20161213_114334337 by Moira Aoibheane Parker, on Flickr
I always forget just how big their cage is, hahaha.
Do you ever move rooms for your budgies? How often and why? I have a feeling the budgies will be in the living room for a good while, until I'm done this paper at least.
My budgie Reggie is in my bedroom and I can't move him right now but I know when it changes to summer I'll be taking him outside in the sunshine so he can at least experience what the outside world looks like ahaha!
How nice that Lemon and Sweetie got to accompany you while writing your paper. My animals always give me inspiration haha.
I used to have to move my birds out of my room whenever my grandma visited (she stays in my room and I move out. Unfortunately, she doesn't always care for the birds so they move out with me into our bonus room.) So then they get a change of scenery, but I've found it stresses them out more than anything. Now, however, they have the giant beast of a cage so probably won't be moving them a whole lot anymore
