Biz really loves this swing. When he sits on it he does with one leg up. (See pic.) He gets really excited and chirps and sings to it. That's it. One leg, lots of chirping, sometimes head bobs but not always.

He goes on it for a little bit in the evening before he goes to his sleep swing. Once the lights go out, he goes to his sleeping swing.

Or he might go on this for a bit and then go play with something else and then the sleep swing when the lights go out.

Any ideas what might be going on?

I've not taken it out yet because he gives equal time to other things, but I'm wondering....

He really gets that leg up high. Also scratches his head a lot on the wood on the sides.

Nothing to be concerned about in the least - that is quite normal.

Both of my females like to sit on their swings with one leg up on the side. They also head bob, talk to the side of their swings and use them to preen their heads.

Biz is just being a budgie!

Haha.....ok great, thank you. I'm glad it's ok because it's pretty cute. And I was feeling guilty about taking it out.
