So checking my order in amazon i stumbled across this big flight cage with a reasonable price i took again a second look to confirm if its real or not...its size cage is 116cm tall with 54x54 length and width and it says it is powder coated i think that what its called Attachment 224242

I only have 2 budgies and 2 canaries at the moment thier cage is a ferplast giulietta 5 (forgot the measurements). Keep in mind that the pairs are on different cages. I only want to know your opinions about this cage in case i decide to add the numbers of budgies thanks guys

21.25" (54 cm) long x 21.25" (54 cm) wide 45.6 " tall (116 cm)
20,591 cubic inches

No more than six budgies should be housed in a cage that size.

I have two budgies housed in a cage measuring

31" (78.74 cm) Long x 20" (50.8 cm) Wide x 45" (114.3 cm) High
27,900 cubic inches

Remember, the more room each budgie has, the better!

Powder coated finishes are fine.

These are the cages I have:

I house two female budgies in the F040
Prevue Hendryx F040

I have seven male budgies in the F050:
Prevue Hendryx F050

You have such a nice cages out there...they look sturdy and resistant. with my 2 budgies i have this Attachment 224250
These little rascals started chewing the corners though...what i really liked about that cage is it has grate below to not mess thier foot with poop. When one of them will make a hole there i will change the cage...i made a mistake buying a wooden cage since budgies are chronic chewers but its been 1 year now that i have that cage.

Remember though, just because 6 budgies will potentially fit in the cage, it doesn't mean that in reality, all 6 individual personalities will get along well enough to live in the same cage.

Also - if some budgies are already established in the cage, there is a good chance that there will be territoriality and potential fighting against the newcomers.

Some other points I can see is - length of the cage is always better than height as far as inside space goes.
Here is another option for a large cage. This is the same style as the one I have for my two budgies. There is a huge amount of width which they enjoy. I love it, although it does take a lot more floor space. https://www.amazon.com/Double-Flight...le+flight+cage Several companies make this style of cage. I'm not sure what is available for delivery in your area.

The more birds you have in any cage, the smaller the cage is going to seem. Especially once you have enough perches and toys in it. :)

With a maximum number of birds in the same cage, you will notice it will get dirty and in need of cleaning very quickly, and you'll need to keep on top of it daily for sure. Even with my spacious cage and only 2 budgies, it's amazing how much poop they produce on a daily basis!

These are just some things I can think of off the top of my head, regarding filling one cage with a maximum number of birds, or planning to 'add' the the same cage. Better to have more than one cage when you have multiple birds. :)

Yes i know the struggle of cleaning the poop i only have 2 also at the moment and even i clean the cage everyday it's like a poop factory below lol.

About the newcomer it will not be a problem for me since i will provide an extra cage when the time comes and will rearrange all the perches and toys when quarantine period has ended...but this will be in my future projects.

I saw this on amazon.it in italy and this is the only flight cage that cost less...other flight cage are made of screens
