Default English Budgie vs American Budgie

For those who have had both English Budgies and American budgies I think I know the physical differences but do you notice personality differences, behavioral differences or anything of that sort?

Generally, it is held that English budgies tend to be more laid back and less hyperactive than their American counterparts; however, both can bond equally well and have a wide range or personalities

I've had 2 standard and 2 English. One of each was more hyper, and one more calm.

Chip my English male is extremely active (and has become very noisy too as he's grown up), and Mink my English female is much more calm and quiet.

I only have one standard American- Louis - he is a little live wire compared to my 3 English budgies. He is always on the go

I have one English female and male and female 'American' budgies. My English girl is as laid back as some of my other girls, she doesn't move about as much as the others prefering to find a comfy spot and stay there.

I currently have 9 English Budgies.
In the past I have had multiple American Budgies.

In my experience, the American Budgies are a bit more skittish than the English Budgies.

All seven of my English Budgie boys are very active, vocal and playful.

My two English Budgie girls are much quieter, don't move around as much and not as interested in playing with their toys.

My female English, Sooty, is very quiet too - she does like to nibble on natural toys though. English boys, Sweep and Sunny Jim are somewhere in between.
