OMG, I am crying my eyes out (good tears). How wonderful that your little friend is back with you! God was watching over him.

I was afraid to finish reading your story at first, but something told me "read it all the way to the end". Now I'm glad I did!

This is an excellent real life story of resilience, devotion, preseverance and love of a mummy birdkeeper. Glad you found Baaji after the many hours of torturous searching around your neighbourhood.

Wishing you many more happy years with Baaji. Long live Baaji.

That is a amazing story thank you for telling us all about your sweet little bird. Its hard to read it without getting tears in your eyes. You can really tell how much your birds means to you. I'm so happy he is safe at home, its just shows how much your looking and not giving up hope paid off.

I'm so happy that you got your beautiful little guy back. Your love for him shines through your telling of his story.
For all of us an important lesson/reminder of how very quickly a bird can get out. No matter how tame a budgie seems it is part of his nature to fly and to fly quickly. I've read about how they live in the wild - when startled they fly and are extremely fast and agile. We have to remember that - and have screens on the windows or never have an open window when a budgie is out of its cage. And no one ever open a door to the outside when a budgie is out of cage. During the time I've been coming on this forum so many many people have lost their dear birds and very few ever get them back.
I'm so glad Baaji made it home!

I can't tell you how awful it was to first hear about Baaji having flown out the window. It was obviously agony for you, and I felt so powerless to help you. Your story is one of a rollercoaster of emotions; I am ecstatic that it ended well with Baaji being reunited with you.

Cheers to Baaji's return!

This made me so sad at first I know exactly how you feel! I'm lucky enough to have never lost a bird, but I have had so many dreams that Blueberry got out, and it is so upsetting and painful. I'm so glad you have him back!

I have read that people do give up too soon when they lose a pet bird. This is definitely an example of why you shouldnt give up
I was sad while reading your story, but now i am so happy that you got little baaji back
You are absolutely right, we need to cherish every moment we have with our little friends
