Yes that could work just be careful when the birds are having their out of cage time that they don't get I to the pot and eat the soil.
I hope you find something it sounds like it will be tones of fun for your little budgies

(Mike was waiting for me to buy it) but....I didnt....I walked away with 4 new toys for my new cage.

I do have a question. I want to put a plant in there for them to have a real plant to climb on. What type have any of you used or heard of being used? I think it would be awesome to let them have some real greenery for them.
Good job resisting. You certainly have room for a fourth, but it seem's like your three get along well for now so no need to rush. I have never messed with plant's myself so I can't advise, though I do know there are bird safe ones...

He is....he really likes my birds but he wont admit it....and loves listening to them when he is here. He called me twice already about that bird..LOL He wants me to get that bird...so he can see it and play with it....and that I will do the work. I dont like 1 of his dogs....it bit me and cracked the bone in my arm. It red lines for no reason...

I'll be looking forward to the pictures of your budgies' new set-up tomorrow. Good job on not getting the additional budgie today.
I'm really proud of you.

It look's great Kathy. You may have to add a couple more swing's, if they are anything like mine they will be fighting over that one. I never had much more than that in there, maybe a couple more small perches, they have each other for entertainment too...

Haha I reckon he could arrive home with that grey budgie

The cage looks really cool I'm sure your budgies don't know themselves I would however take out the snuggle hut for a couple of reasons. Firstly the fibres of digested can really mess up their little systems and could cause fatal damage down the tack (I'm a bit of a stickler with fabrics and ropes). The second reason is that it could start causing nesting behaviour which can set off a whole other line of problems.
