Congrats on your awesome new cage!
I'm glad you took out the birdie tent. This is especially so, given the fact you have a young female and two males and the tent could lead to all sorts of different problems and not just unwanted egg laying. When decorating the new cage, be sure to not give anything that your budgies could potentially use as a nest and no dark hiding areas for them to go to.

Looks good, Kathy!

Just two more things--I know that it's hard to find replacement perches that are long enough to go across the whole cage to replace the dowel perches, but to make them better for their feet, take them out of the cage and cut random slices out of it with a small saw or sharp knife so it's a different texture than just smooth all the way. Mallorn does have one dowel perch in her cage, but I've abused it so much you can hardly tell, hehe

Also, I'd cut off the dangly ropes at the bottom of the three-ring swing toy, as if they swallow any of this when they're chewing on it, it will cause crop impaction, which can be fatal. In general, keep an eye on rope toys and perches, as some budgies ignore the material and some insist on chewing them.

Other than that, it looks great! I'm sure they'll have a blast exploring

I am going to go out in the yard and cut up some branches that fell from this last storm and get them prepared so I can use them instead of the dowel perches. Eventually that is all I want in there. So much to do!!! I will get those hanging strings cut off in the morning. Thank you for the advice!!

Beautiful set up and a lovely big cage for the budgies.
That's the only problem with the lovely big flight cages is they look sparse even with plenty of toys in.
I wouldn't worry about it too much. You'll build up a collection over time.
