Default Finding a deal on a large cage for small birds

The place where I normally buy A&E flight cages has only had the color burgandy in stock for the last 2 weeks. I dislike the color and mostly prefer black cages so I have yet to replace the wire cage my fischer lovebird is currently residing.

The best price I can find so far on a larger cage is Prevue F050 for $152.52 at Overstock with a 12% off coupon through Retail Me Not. I was consider buying the larger F050 cage and giving it to my bonded budgie pair and then giving my single fischer the A&E flight.

The F050 is the cage I am leaning towards most at the moment.

The other possibilities are;

HQ Flight for $127.49 at Petco with 15% off flash sale.

or

The HQ victorian for $209.99. I love the fact that it is pretty and has horizontial bars but hate the price (although I can afford it) and the fact that the bowls take up the most of the bottom level. How does one organize toys and stuff without birds taking a dump in the bowls in such a cage?

or

The Palama Palace for $219.95 at Bird Cages 4 Less. I love the looks and again hate the price. I am unsure by the picture if the food bowls will be an issue. The other big negative is there isn't a major cage manufacturer backing this cage. I get nervous when I am dealing with nameless brands I know nothing about.

I want a large black wrought iron powder coated cage. Am I missing any good deals or possibilities here?

I have the hq flight cage and love it you have to add your own food dishes there are no food doors but you can put the food dishes just inside the doors like i did or hang them on the doors it does have two nest doors on the sides if you need them

The F050 is a great cage and a steal at that price. You can sometime find the F040 for as low as $89 to $100 which is also a steal for a great size cage...

I like the F040 and F050 cages.

The HQ Flight cage is very well made and would be an excellent choice as well.

Thanks, I wound up ordering the F050. My bonded budgie pair will get the new cage and the Fischer lovebird will inherit their A&E cage which is only a few months old.

I would have gone with the HQ but apparently Petco isn't honoring the normal sales price while the flash sale is running and I just don't think the cage is worth a $180. If anyone winds up using the Overstock's Retail Me Not coupon just a warning. The discount will sometimes drop off so check the price every single screen. I had to restart check out three different times before I could get all the way through without the discount disappearing.

Well done!
I'm sure your budgies will love having so much room in their new kingdom.

I hope you'll share some pictures when you have it home and they are moved in.
