Default Cage

Hey
is this cage good for a budgie (or in the future even 2?)

PIANO 6 | Gabbia di grandi dimensioni per canarini, cocorite e altri piccoli uccelli - Ferplast

because I found a new shop in my town and I think that one is the best looking from what they have ^^"

Karina,

Yes, the dimensions of that cage are:
87 cm Long x 46.5 Wide x 70 cm High
which converts to: 37” L x 18” W x 27.5” H

18,315 cubic inches

That would be an awesome cage for one or two budgies!

That looks like a great cage, Karina! Will it be Rocky's new home?

Yes I want this to be his new home
Oh god I bought him toys yesterday with bells and he played with them so much and then I noticed the bottom ball with the bell inside it has a broken opened plastic and the bell part is missing

So I took it out and I took the bell out from the second toy
Why is this keep happening to me ...
I didn't find the missing bell..maybe it fell but I don't think rocky swallowed it,. It was last night and he looks fine this morning also he looked fine last night I don't know anymore

It was this set ...

Don't worry, Karina

Rocky is probably just fine. Budgies don't ingest plastic very often, especially if it's larger than what they would normally eat. I would bet that he's fine! I'm so glad you were there to get the broken toy out before anything did happen, though! I'm sure he'll love his new cage when it comes!

The bells inside those toys are too big for a budgie to swallow so don't be concerned about that.
My concern at this point would be whether there are any sharp pieces of plastic on the toy where he could be injured.
If so, please throw any of the broken balls away.
I bought that toy and cut the filament between each ball that holds them together.
I lay the balls on top of the cages and the budgies love throwing them off onto the floor.

Thanks ! The thing is that ball isn't broken , it broke inside somehow 0:
So I can put the toy back if the bells are too big anyway ? Because he seems to like these balls very much hehe
Good idea also to use it just as regular balls hehe!

i'm sorry I wasn't clear..XD the ball is whole and not broken. it's only the plastic that "holds" the bell I was worried about ^^:
so everything is fine thanks :3!

SORRY ONE MORE QUESTION PLEASE :
I keep hearing about egg food..
what exactly is "egg food"? I used to give my girl mashed egg when she was sick but now I see they actually sell it
tropimix egg food mix - is this good? how often should I give this to a budgie?

Egg food is any food made of egg, basically. Mashed hardboiled egg is a great way to serve eggfood, especially when a budgie needs a little extra protein, like when they are sick or moulting.

The commercial eggfood is good if you don't have fresh egg, but either way, you can offer it once a week and more often during a moult
