Default Cage size ?

Hello there , i just brought 2 budgie in a cage of size 18 inch height * 13 inch length * 10 inch width ,is the size of cage is comfortable for 2 budgies ? Shop owner told me that it can easily handle 4 bird (I know there marketing strategy) but as much i know cage is not very comfortable for them so i brought only 2 but now when i see them flying in cage i noticed that they are having difficulty to fly to the perches ? Now i want to buy a big cage for them so what size of cage will be good for 2 budgies (toys are also going take place) ? , is changing cage is necessary or i am thinking too much ?, Please help me to sort out the problem

The absolute minimum cage size for two budgies is 30x18x18 in. The one you have currently is not big enough for one budgie (minimum size 18x18x18) let alone four! If you want a good cage and are willing to spend a little more, the Prevue Hendryx F040 or F050 are both great cages and are very large. The Vision L02 is also a good cage. This section of the forum should help you out!

HunterKat has given you excellent information and suggestions.

The cage you have is not large enough for even one budgie, much less two.

Please take the time to read the stickies and Budgie Articles before posting questions.
Most all of the basic questions have been answered in these areas which are great resources for those who read them.
