Default Cage upgrade

I wanted to upgrade my current cage for my budgies its ferplast giulietta 5 and yes its wooden it measure around 69x30x40 and yes budgies have a chronic munching so its getting chipped little by little
Many members here are using hendryx prevue but I don't have a flock.
I was thinking about purchasing montana madeira and I think it's pretty big and sturdy...it has horizontal bars also which I really like the feeders and doors have lock and it is +1 for me since I had a budgie that flew from my current cage (ferplast giulietta 5). What I want to know if there are some members who have this cage if you can tell me more in you experience of having this cage and the measurements of the cage without the stand thank you

This link give you the information about the Montana Madera cage:

Montana Cages Madeira I - Antique | Bird Cages at zooplus

The cage (without the stand) is 71 cm long x 45 cm wide by 70 cm high

With the stand the height would be a total of
139 cm.

Thanks much appreciated. I can't seem to see the height without the stand. As I expected it is much more taller. I'll start saving money now to upgrade then giving the wooden cage to the other 2 canaries thst I have 😊

Hi! I recently upgraded my budgies to the Montana Maderia cage, and have to say it is fantastic! Its very sturdy and well built and soo roomy! There are lots of doors and openings which makes cleaning alot easier, but is also great if you let your birds out to play as they have more options to fly in and out. All of the openings have good locks and security on them too. I love it and so do my little guys!

Thank you for providing these info. I like the liberta oregon flight cage as shape and size but It's vertical bars and only sold in uk then I saw this in a local website montana madeira in Italy and I fell in love.
Im saving now to at give these little rascals some new castle. I wanted them to be happy under my care even though how much I insist they won't go out and explore my room lol

Yes and I really like thr horizontal bars the most as I have more options where putting the perches.
They are more happy inside even though I really wanted them to at least go out and have some flight time so I thought a bigger house for them 😝

Yes the horizontal bars are brill, my two are always climbing around and peeking out haha. The top of the cage opens wide and comes with a short dowel perch to prop it open. I find that my budgies will only fly in and out that opening at the minute, maybe it would help your budgies be braver going in and out or sitting on that upper perch! Good luck! Hope you post pictures if you get a new set up! I will post mine soon!
