This is Bubba & Kiwi's new home. I had them in a small single bird starter cage and noticed they are starting to fly around more as they are getting older. The small cage wasn't sufficient. Found this on the app Letgo from a guy who was moving and didn't have the room for this and 2 other large cages. All he wanted was $30 for each, couldn't pass that up. Wish I could have justified buying the other two only because they were so cheap, wife wouldn't have been happy. Cages like this and similar in size in other ads around here were priced at $200 or more. Brought it home and scrubbed it, dried it, and scrubbed it again. Bubba and Kiwi are happy.

Here's a video I just made of them

Nice cage. Mine is of similar size but not quite as ornate. They appear very happy. My boyz were responding when I was watching the video.

LOL I will video record them and then play it back on my computer, their home is right next to my desk, and they will sing and talk to the video. Kiwi, the yellow budgie, tries to get as loud as she can over herself in the video. hahaha

I am using a desk lamp with a flexible neck with an LED bulb so it doesn't throw off a ton of heat like an incandescent bulb would. I have mine sitting on top of the nesting box, but if I didn't have that I would have bought a clamp-on desk lamp. All day long the birds will sing and chirp but when I shut the light off it's like shutting the birds off, they gradually go quiet in a few minutes. When I wake in the morning they are so quiet, until I switch on the light. They start going crazy flying and chasing each other and making as much noise as they can. I love it.

Nice cage and NICE price! and cute budgies too
I would suggest you maybe move the light a bit further away if you have it on all day though

It's only a 40 watt LED. It only looks super bright in the dark corner.
