Default Wanting to move my budgies to a new cage

I recently got my budgies about 3 months ago they are still not fully tamed I still need to train them step up so how Can I move my budgies

The reason I want to move my budgies is because I got them when they were fairly small and their growing out of the cage

How Can I move the budgies out of the d cage Can I put a perch connecting the two or put them face to face?

Yeah opening the doors and putting them face to face so their is no way of escape is a good way. You can put some millet spray in the new cage to hopefully coax them to go over.

Hi! to Talk Budgies

I'm glad to hear you are providing your budgies with an appropriately sized cage.
The very minimum size cage for two budgies would be 30" Long by 18" wide by 18" high.
Remember, with budgies the bigger the cage the better as long as the spacing between the bars is no more than 1/2" wide. The more space your budgies have in their cage, the healthier and happier they will be. Wider cages are better than tall cages as budgies fly laterally and round cages are never recommended.

To make it less stressful for your budgies, take everything out of their current cage except for one perch.

Set up the new cage and include a favorite treat, such as some millet.
Put the two cages side by side with the doors open and facing one another.

Have the cage openings as close to one another as possible. If necessary drape a towel across the top of the cage doors to prevent accidental escape.
Blocking the underside of the cage opening may also be required. Stand back and let the budgies move of their own accord. This may take some time, but when they get hungry or thirsty they'll move over into the new cage to eat and drink.

Let us know how it goes for you.
