Default Mirror?

I've heard mirrors can be good or bad. I have a single female budgie and I give her lots of time and attention, but because of that she ALWAYS wants to be out of the cage. I put a mirror in her cage to make cage time more entertaining and she is very intrigued by it. Is it good or bad to have a mirror with a single budgie? I don't want to cause problems.

You should definitely not put a mirror in your budgies cage. It can cause attachment issues, aggression, and depression.

It's great that she loves spending time with you. Establish a routine with her so she knows when it's time to come out of the cage, and when it's not that time, don't give in to her begging so she knows it's time to entertain herself with her toys

I’d take it out. More times than not, a mirror causes problems. At the least, it is not very mentally healthy for the budgie.
