Default I want a bigger cage

I'm looking for a new house for oz and Charlie

the one they're currently in measures 31 in across 33 in tall 17 inches front to back

I am trying to find something that's at least 38 in across and 40 in tall and at least 34 in deep I can't seem to find anything

they're well-adjusted in the house they're in but i want to make sure their new house will be safe, easy to clean and not have large food bowls

they have a tendency to get in the food bowls flap their wings and throw their seeds all over the floor

any advice would be appreciated

here's a couple of pictures of their current house next to that is one that I saw the local small non chain pet store

I really liked it but it was very expensive ( 500) so I'm still looking

Mink and Chip have this cage, and they love it. It’s really more room than they even use. It’s a mansion for 2 budgies. https://birdcages4less.com/page/B/PROD/PA5699 Look it’s on sale now!

I have this cage: https://birdcages4less.com/page/B/PROD/PA5719
It's 32 inches long, 18 inches deep, and 36 inches high, which isn't quite the dimensions you were looking for but it's really quite large for two budgies!

Both the above suggestions are good cages.
Another popular cage, closer to your dimensions is the prevue hendryx F050
https://www.amazon.com/Prevue-Hendry...ct_top?ie=UTF8

I have an almost identical cage to the one Ravensgryf posted above and love it - If you have the space to fit this cage, then thatís the one Iíd recommend. Remember that birds fly more like planes than helicopters, so the increase in length tends to make the most difference.

In terms of containing mess, then the Vision cages seem to be the best from what Iíve seen; though the dimensions of L02 (largest model) is less than the other cage suggestions.

I have found that using clear bird baths ...
Example https://www.amazon.com/Living-World-...Bird+bath+cage
.... as seed dishes, helps contain a lot of that mess (though if you have a female, be careful that she doesnít view it as a nest site).

I actually think what you have looks plenty spacious! But you can never go wrong with a bigger cage. Two of my keets share this cage: https://www.birdscomfort.com/stack_flight_cage.html

I also have one of the Vision cages for my single female parakeet. I do not recommend the Vision cages; they are more geared towards the bird owner than the bird.

I have two of the Prevue Hendryx F050 flight cages and highly recommend them.

Cage Dimensions are 47"H x 36"W x 22"D

That looks like a nice solid cage too. Not quite the dimensions you were hoping for, but reasonable size and a good make.

The large door should be fine for access to clean it - allows you to get a head, arm and shoulder in there, so unless you’re very petite, it shouldn’t be a problem. You’d likely need a second pair of hands to fix perches to the back wall though.

I like this one too I like the bar spacing since it goes side to side instead of up and down that way if the birds try to climb they wont slide down the bars

the dimensions are not quite what I want but it's close

plenty big for two of them nicer than what they have

I'm going to wait and see if it goes on sale

I will need a lot of toys to start the new house with all kinds of goodies
