So I have been finding these small little brown bugs here and there on my walls mostly in my bathroom, I found found maybe like 3 in the last couple weeks.. today I found a dead one on my bed and under my sheets.. do I have an infestation building of like bird mites or something? I have been cleaning my room and searching and haven't found any source of them.. what do I do? help!
Try and identify the type of bugs you have. There's probably a website for infestations and stuff which might help identify them.
Depending on what you have and how bad it is, you may have to get your home fumigated. If you can't find the source, you'll probably best to call in an expert, especially if you keep finding them.
If you can arrange for your bird and other pets to go elsewhere with family of friends while the issues gets sorted it would probably be best for them.
I know that my cousin had the same problem but worse and recognized the bug when she saw them, but I have only found four and she told me they are attracted to their feathers and seed. I found them before and made sure I just kept her area clean more and then they went away, but I left for 2 months wit my parents watching her and they didn't clean as thoroughly like I would and when I came back I've seen 4 since and not even in my room, I deeped cleaned everything and found no sight of any in my room so im hoping that they will go away like they did last time thank you so much for your response
I would relax a bit....Finding four "bugs" in a couple of weeks in your house is definitely not an infestation. Most mites are so small you can barely see them. Having one budgie in your house is not a cause of any infestation. If you post a good photo of one of your bugs when you find the next one, and an estimate of it's length, I should be able to identify what you're creepy residents are, or at least give you a good idea of the family. (I do live bug educational programs).
If you left a large amount of seed in open containers, all over the house, for a period of time, you could have a variety of insects that may feed on it, but I'm curious of what your cousin identified her bugs as?
