I'm sure Ing loves the new cage.

I recommend you remove the plastic perches in the cage and replace them with natural wooden perches of varying diameters to help prevent pressure sores.
Wood perches are better for your budgie's feet than plastic.

The information in this link will give examples of better options for perches:

I have some natural perches I plan to switch out from time to time. However the perches with the vision cages are made to have varying diameters throughout the perch. Also the butterfly perches are wide enough for him to relax his feet and there are a multitude of other perches that the plastic is highly variable in texture and diameter. I also give him a great deal of out of cage time. Where he is exposed to varying perch material for a few hours a day minimum though I have become his favorite perch lol. Thank you for your advice. Also I know his cage looks full but the entire inside is open to allow for some flight inside the cage. Itís two L01 models combined for the half inch wire spacing and it gives me an extra base.

Ings cage looks awesome. Iím interested to know how you combined the 2 Vision cages to make one huge one. I have my baby in the L01. It was meant to be temporary with the hope heíd move into the huge cage with my other 2, if this isnít looking likely so Iíd like to give him something bigger.

Thank you! I just wish I could find the Vision daisy perch that’s similar to the sunflower but it’s three little daisies that sway a little and gives them a similar sensation as to landing and perching on tall grasses in the wild. I know he would love it! If anyone comes across it online please let me know!
You can get the corner pieces and the middle pieces from Amazon;

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003TTW14M...548780071&sr=2

And connect everything but the extra base and top that way. I did this so I can just swap bases for easy cleanup.

You could also just get the front, side and back pieces along with the door clips corners (two types) and centers. Get the items I previously listed plus these if you decide not to just get a second cage.

https://www.amazon.com/Vision-Back-W...5JMKH0CX2S06BY
https://www.amazon.com/Vision-Front-...AE7RHDC82E9PDX

You will have to call Hagen about the little white corner clips bc I can’t find them online where they aren’t sold out if you go the second route or maybe you will have better luck than me.

Thank you for that info. I know a lady who has the l01 and a spare M01. Sheís connecting the medium to the top of the large to get a large cage with extra height. Obviously the top wonít be as big as the bottom but itís looking great. I havenít seen the daisy perch or any Vision perches other than the ones that came with the cage (which I donít use. I replaced them all with natural wooden perches). Iíll have to see if I can find them as Iím curious now.
