First impressions: It is HUGE. It is seriously unbelievably roomy for a cage thatís not floor standing Aviary style. Itís not hard to put together, and I did it alone in about 15-20 minutes (including a false start.) I havenít put the feeders together yet, though.
Cons: I donít know how it compares to other cages, but the plastic feels quite soft and flimsy. The base arrived with two of its corners broken, even though it was well packaged. Iím sure I could get a replacement, but it doesnít affect use and I donít care enough. The plastic frame around the top grill is soooo soft and bendy, I was worried I was going to break it while I was putting it together (I do tend to be quite impatient and heavy-handed with my stuff.) With a bit of care, it didnít break, and it does feel quite solid and stable when itís put together.
The doors are roomier than I feared and placed at mid-height at the front, which means I can reach all areas of the cage fairly easily -which I was worried about.
Did I mention itís HUGE? Itís almost a metre long and when I put my arm in through the front door, I have to go in past my elbow to touch the back.
All in all, very pleased with it. Now to decorate!
