I'm a new budgie owner and lover so I'm here to learn all I can. I just got two budgies last week. The blue one is skeeter and the yellow one is Skippy. They both are young the band's say they were hatched in 2019.

I highly recommend you read all the stickies available, especially the ones on taming and bonding as you don’t want to push it too fast and end up scaring your budgies instead of gaining their trust. Earning budgies trust is a slow process that cannot be rushed. You will find information here on every aspect of budgie care, including diet, cage set up, health and so much more. If you have any questions, don’t be afraid to ask as everyone is so friendly and always happy to help. I hope we’ll see you and your beautiful babies around here regularly.
