Default Goodbye Bab.. :(

Hi there! I know its a bit late to Share this Story to you, cause my Bab, died Last year... and I havent found out this, so its a bit late. And Ive Been posting this Story of my Bab to a Different threads. Well I think I just Should share His Story on my Own thread...

When I was Nine (9) my dad Bought me 4 budgies. 1 Pair Of Blue and 1 Pair of Green, My 2 blue Pair of Budgie that my Dad Bought me Layed an Egg and the Female Green budgie Died Because of Eggbound. So, Bab was Layed by my Color Blue Budgie, and hatch blah blah blah grow up blah blah blah. Then One Day. A rat came Inside the cage and Killed Bab's Mom. and Bab's Dad Died cause of Old Age. As Years Go by, Bab did his to-do things. And One Day, ( I was 13 that time. Now Im 14 ) I saw Bab's Feathers Fluffy and It seems Like his sick and Im Ignorant about budgies that time, so I decided to leave him alone at the aviary. And One day My dad Got inside the home Holding Bab. and My Dad said. Cure him because he is Sick so I did My job as his owner, Bab is Different. he got tamed Naturally w/o me teaching him some taming lesson. And yeah. Like everytime I came home from school He would Chirp Loudly and Fly Around his little Cage everytime he sees me, and I I opened the Cage's Door and there he Goes Running around the Living Room. Bab isnt Mischievous Like Causing Problems around the living room. He's Just there Running around the table or just climbing up and down to our sofa. And when I finish changing my clothes from my Room he Flies Right away To me like a Happy budgie. its just same routine everyday. But One day
I arrived From home. My Budgie, Bab, Saw me and didnt chirp and fly around his little cage and the way he looks at me is like telling me that Something is wrong. and When I Opened his Cage door, when He came out he cant walk properly and His dragging his right leg. And he climbed up to my pants and Took a Nap. and When I lift him, His Right Leg got fully Palaryzed and I took a oil ( a traditional Oil that heals Sickness of body or Inside the body. its full proof ) and after I applied it, he Kinda Moved his Right Leg, but only a little. It gave me a relief. and after a min ( Bab is still in my palm ) he kicked his both legs and I heared his Breathing fastly and the sound is like ticking clock. and I saw Him Took a Very Deep Breathe and Died... Its really painful that your Favorite pet died in your own two hands...

btw sorry for a Very long post xDD

I can see from your story that Bab was a really special budgie, and I'm sorry for your loss. By remembering the good moments you had with Bab, you will always keep him close to your heart.
Rest in peace, sweet Bab.

Babs got to be with you awhile it seems so that was good. I had that special budgie too like Babs but only got to spend a couple months together. Maybe they are playing together now.

Ohhh bless, sweet little Bab, he seemed to be so bonded to you, how wonderful to have had such a special bird in your life, I am so sorry for your loss My own dear Charlie, my first bird, a cockatiel, died in my arms, I was young at the time, about 12 I believe. I woke up about 1am one night, and heard flapping. Charlie was on the bottom of the cage, rigid and cold. She was very bonded to me, and I believe she waited for me to wake up, flapping until I came to her. I held her in my arms and screamed for my grandmother, she rushed in and I demanded she rush to the bathroom and make a hot water bottle to warm poor Charlie, but Charlie lay calm in my arms, looking at me, then she closed her eyes and took her last breath, I howled all night, I had never felt pain like it, typing this is making me tear up, I never got over losing her, so I know the pain you felt when you lost dear little Babs as he lay in your hands, but the memories and good times will stay with you always, and in that way, they never truly leave us, big hugs to you x
