Default Barnaby has passed away..

My boyfriend and I found one of our birds dead today. Our lutino baby. She was acting fine and happy last night and has always been in very good health along with my other birds. She looked peaceful, no cuts or blood her feathers weren't messed up, she was just lying there. I mostly just don't understand what happened. I wish I knew, we have had her for about 2 years. What would cause that? I am heartbroken.

We don't use Teflon or air freshened or nailpolish or any of the things you aren't supposed to use. We don't smoke in the house. I just don't understand.

Mostly I just want to know what happened. I can't believe this.

Amazing little bird. I'll miss her greatly.

Aww so sorry to hear Sometimes we just don't know what causes sudden death in a budgie. The only real way to try to get an answer is to do a necropsy. Poor little baby

I'm so sorry for your loss sometimes there's nothing you can do. I know she had a very happy, if too short, life with you and your flock.

RIP sweet Barnaby, fly high little one.

I am so sorry for your loss. These sudden unexpected ones must be especially hard. You gave little Barnaby a lovely life, he just had to leave too soon. My sincerest condolences.

I am so very sorry for your loss of your Barnaby. Nothing can prepare us to handle situations like this and getting closure of some kind can sometimes be the only thing we can pursue to help us move through the heartbreak. I know it can be very difficult to talk about, but would having a necropsy done be an option? It is often the only way to know what happened...

Please know that we are here for you during this difficult time, okay? I'm so sorry...

Fly free Barnaby. You will be missed.
