It is with great sadness that I announce to you all that Peanut, the cheeky little Dragon (as nicknamed by my housemate) has decided to fly through the castle gates and vanished into sky even though the cheeky little ****** had his wings clipped. He disappeared on the 18th June, I searched for him everywhere but the little adventurer was no where to be seen.
Just thought I would let you all know, he was my first budgie and hadn't even decided on what gender he/she was. I know the type of predator birds that hang around my area, rest in peace Peanut. You will be sorely missed as a companion, friend and Dragon.
I'm so sorry for your loss of little Peanut... There is still a chance he may have been found by someone else that is now taking care of him.
But if it's not the case, rest in peace Peanut. You were much loved and will be missed.
I'm so sorry, I hope he was lucky and someone found him before he go eaten! You never know, it's possible... After all he defied the odds and managed to fly away with clipped wings, he may defy them again!
I have had the misfortune to experience this. It was very frustrating because my budgie hung around for a few days, he would fly down to the cage and land on it but I couldn't catch him again then ........ If only we could talk to them
So sorry to hear of your unexpected loss - even with their wings clipped, they are capable of distancing themselves very quickly from your reach (I know from hard, personal experience...)
So sad for you
Unending Thanks, Ms FaeryBee, for the Absolute Perfect Picture!
